Our Care Payment Plan is designed to help you budget for your dental charges through the year. The plan also provides valuable insurance should you need additional treatment in an emergency, following an accident or for serious dental conditions such as oral cancer. Click on the links below to find out more about our payment plan.

About Dental Payment Plans

Our Care Plan is a monthly payment plan which provides cover for your routine (check-ups, x-rays and hygiene visits) and restorative (crowns, bridges or fillings) dental treatment. The amount you pay is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need. After an initial assessment you will be placed into one of five categories. This will determine the monthly fee.

Our Care Plan includes dental injury and dental emergency cover and mouth cancer cover (not immediately available). You will also have access to Denplan’s 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline.

The Importance of Your Oral Health

Preventive dentistry is the foundation on which Denplan was built. A dental payment plan enables you and your dentist to focus on regular care to help minimise the risk factors before they cause pain and may need costly treatment.

We recommend that our patients follow a programme of preventive care using the skill of our practice team and the support of a dental payment plan.

How It Works

Your dentist will talk to you about the dental plans so that you can choose which plan.
A dentist at our practice will then carry out a dental assessment. The amount you pay will be decided by your dentist and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need. The payment will be collected monthly.

Family discounts

Dental payment plans can benefit the whole family. Where more than one member of the family is registered at the same practice and payments are made under one single direct debit, the following discounts apply:

Family members – 5% discount
Three family members – 10% discount
Four or more family members – 15% discount

Method of payment

Following your initial dental assessment, you will know exactly how much your regular payments will be. You can choose to pay by monthly direct debit or by a single annual payment. There is also a one-off, initial registration fee equivalent to one month’s payment.

Freedom to cancel

Our Care programme is designed to give the reassurance of long term support. However, if you wish, you can cancel your agreement at any time by giving 21 days notice by telephone or in writing to your dentist and to Denplan.

Questions & Answers

Q. What are the benefits of having a dental payment plan?
A. Dental payment plans are designed to be used positively to support a preventive approach to your oral healthcare through regular check-ups, dental care and advice to help stop possible expensive or complex dental treatment. Denplan Care not only provides you with help to pay for your routine (check-ups, x-rays and hygiene visits) dental care but for any restorative treatment you may need such as crowns, bridges or fillings.

Q. How will my fee be paid?
A. You can choose to pay your fee monthly by direct debit, or annually by cheque or credit card to Denplan.

Q. Is there a registration fee?
A. Yes, there is a one-off fee usually debited during the first month of your contract to cover the initial costs of administration. This is an additional one-off payment equal to your monthly fee.

Q. Once I have signed the, can I cancel it?
A.In the event that you should need to cancel your contract this can be done by giving 21 days notice, expiring on the last day of the month. Cancellations will be accepted by telephone or in writing to Ourselves. Please note that it is important that you also inform your dentist of your decision. You can find all the details of your membership on the copies of the contract you signed.

Dr Richard Prais Principal Dental Surgeon BDS LDS RCS Country of issue: UK GDC registration number: 64160 Richard Prais qualified at King’s College London in 1989. His special areas of interest are the care of the nervous patient, the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.

Richard has a particular interest in digital dentistry. The practice has invested in state of the art x ray sensors to improve the diagnostic abilities of the practice and speeds up your treatment time. Dr Ian Arad Dr Ian Arad is a passionate orthodontist and prides himself on providing excellent orthodontic treatment and personalised care. He is meticulous in his approach to treatment and works hard to give patients the outcome they desire.

Ian started his path into orthodontics with a biochemistry Degree from Dundee University. He then studied dentistry at Kings College London where he was awarded 3 prizes, one of which included the prestigious Jelf Medal.

Ian then honed his skills in dentistry by working in private practice and in hospitals treating complex multidisciplinary cases using the latest dental techniques and instruments. It was during this time that he was awarded his diploma in Membership of The Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and published in orthodontic literature.

Having built up his skill set in general dentistry Ian decided he wanted a new challenge, and having a keen interest in orthodontics, decided to enter specialist training at the Royal London Hospital and Southend Hospital NHS. During his three-year orthodontic qualification Ian gained a keen interest in oral health. This interest led him to form a research team comparing the effectiveness of manual versus electric tooth brushing in orthodontic patients, which had the prestigious honour of being sponsored by Colgate. After this Ian was awarded his Masters in Clinical Dentistry and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Whilst on his career pathway, Ian has managed to take enjoyment from a wide range of activities. His sporting pursuits include football, fencing and of course golf. He takes significant delight from trying new restaurants and enjoys jetting off to different countries around the globe to enjoy their cuisine and culture.

Ian was inspired to become an Orthodontist, because the craft and skill involved brings about a true transformation in people. He firmly believes that it is not just their smile that is transformed, but also their whole self, their confidence and their self esteem. He knows that he can really make a difference to somebody’s life and feels very privileged to be able to do this as part of the Prais Dental team.
